Introduction to the Use of Secondary Data in Educational and Social Research In-Person

Secondary Data Analysis is a growing area of education research which includes: the re-use/re-analysis of previous qualitative data, use of numerous surveys collected with general quantitative data and the exploitation of administrative data sources. In these two sessions we will explore the different potential sources of secondary data available and show case some examples of work completed using secondary data.
Before each session the course Moodle Site will have some presessional tasks for you to complete, please come to the sessions (online or face-to-face) ready to discuss with the group.
