NB: This course accrues 4 training points.

Please note: This is a course for students who have already collected qualitative data.

In each session we will discuss the work of two students, who will bring along data extracts for us to work through. The course offers an opportunity to work in a small, supportive group and to talk about analysis in a very broad way. Our discussions will be driven by the needs of each student, but they will all focus on analysis, and will deal with issues such as:
 

• analytic frameworks
• the organisation of data
• the transcription and representation of data
• using different approaches to analysis
• any methodological issues that intersect with analysis (e.g. ethics, truth claims, the writing up of analysis).
