Intermediate Topics in Quantitative Research (IQR2) (face-to-face) In-Person

NB:
 This course accrues 8 training points (2 points are available for each session).

This set of workshops is for those who want to take their basic quantitative research skills further. The workshop delve into key aspects of doing quantitative research in the social sciences such as effective measurement, identification of bias, understanding p-values and effect size, navigating regression models including an introduction to structural equation modelling, and confidently drawing conclusions from quantitative research. Gain practical skills in designing and interpreting regression models while learning to discern good from bad significance testing. Ideal for building a solid foundation in quantitative research methodologies. Throughout, we will apply taught methods to analyse real-world data.
