Introduction to Quantitative Research (IQR1) (face-to-face) In-Person

NB: This course accrues 8 training points.

Outcomes:
This course is tailored for individuals new to quantitative research, offering a comprehensive introduction to key concepts and practices. Participants will gain a solid foundation in aspects of data collections, including questionnaire design and sample size determination, as well as essential data analysis techniques such as descriptive methods, data visualisation, and introductory inferential statistics. Real-world examples from diverse fields of social research and policy applications will be used to demonstrate the practical application of these techniques.
