This session will cover using Zotero to:

• creating a Zotero account;
• adding references and full-text documents to that account;
• organising and managing references;
• using Zotero with Word, inserting references and generating a bibliography in a citation style of your choice;
• syncing your Zotero library to the Web.

By the end of this session you will be able to:

• Add bibliographic references from the library catalogue, Explore, and from databases;
• Upload full-text documents to Zotero;
• Create folders within Zotero;
• Use Zotero to insert citations in Word;
• Create a bibliography in Word with Zotero;
• Edit citations;
• Backup your Zotero library to Zotero on the Web.

This course is aimed at users with no previous experience of the software.
