This is for doctoral researchers interested in examining cause-and-effect relationships using experimental design. We begin with an introduction to experimental design common in social and educational research, followed by critical discussions of issues typically associated with such design. You have opportunities to work collaboratively on designing experimental research on topics relevant to your own research interests. Analytical approaches and techniques pertinent to quantitative experimental research are also discussed.
