Academic Writing: Developing your Literature Review (face-to-face) In-Person

NB: This course accrues 2 training points.

This course will support students to critically assess the quality of empirical research they encounter when reviewing the literature for their thesis. 

Session one will demonstrate why critical appraisal is a vital skill for undertaking their literature review and introduce the broad principles of assessing research quality. 

Session two will be a practical / discussion-based session to provide students with the skills to appraise different types of research.
