 in the IOE)\n \n\nNB: This course accrues 2 training points.\n\nThis course 
 will support students to critically assess the quality of empirical 
 research they encounter when reviewing the literature for their thesis. 
 \n\nSession one will demonstrate why critical appraisal is a vital skill 
 for undertaking their literature review and introduce the broad principles 
 of assessing research quality. \n\nSession two will be a practical / 
 discussion-based session to provide students with the skills to appraise
